The former teacher is living in Markkleeberg near Leipzig in Saxony since 1966. Since 1995 Ursula Bückner is self employed artist. She visited the "Abendakademie" at the "Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst" in Leipzig. Many paintings of the artist are chronological references of the urban development in Markkleeberg. Their watercolours are declarations of love for this city. The artist is always looking for typical themes and impressions of buildings and nature in the town. The artist presents her works of art in a large number of exhibitions.
