Artist:
Rudolf Uttecht, born in Leipzig in 1900, died there in 1991, studied at the Academy of Graphic Arts in Leipzig from 1924 to 1928 and worked as a freelancer in Leipzig from 1929. In 1943 he was bombed out with all his work. He remained attached to his hometown throughout his life and captured the Leipzig area in great detail. He also painted landscapes and the sea on his trips to the Baltic Sea.
