The painting fascinates by its excellent accuracy, in a look of deep concentration, with serious gaze and accurate dress the boy is presented. The hair's structure, the particular characteristics of his eyes and mouth as well as the drapery of his clothes, his facial outline by the interplay of light and shade is painted with magnificent skill, even the reflection of light in his eyes did the painter elaborate. Painted in a variation of brown shades and skin tones this portrait create a harmonious impression. The oval image view is surrounded by dark brown velvet and fixed in a stucco frame.
