Unique and elegant oil painting on wood by Brigitte Holzer, 20th century (original date unknown), a posh society in a castle park. The painting fascinates by its harmonious colours, mainly in green.
In the lower left corner the signature "B. Holzer Düss." can be seen. Furthermore the painting is mounted in a silver coloured wooden frame. On the back side of the painting there is an appraisal for this picture, dated 02.07.1990, with a stated price of 30.000,- DM.

Brigitte Holzer (born Nov. 3rd 1946), German painter from Dusseldorf.
For about 30 years Brigitte Holzer deals with oil paintings of different styles. She studied painting at the Dusseldorf Art Academy and the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Preferred subjects are portraits, urban and coffee house scenes and sensual images of women. Brigitte Holzer's works have been the subject of various international exhibitions. She has won several prizes and had two art galleries in Cologne. Her paintings have achieved in prestigious auction houses worldwide high prices.
