ARTISTS:
Ursula Mattheuer-Neustädt, born 1924 in Plauen, is a drawer, illustrator and writer from Leipzig. She attended the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig, since finishing her study she is working as independent drawer and illustrator. In 1972 she received the Art Price of the city Leipzig, in 2006 she founded the "Ursula Mattheuer-Neustädt und Wolfgang Mattheuer Stiftung".
Werner Stötzer, 1931 - 2010, was a German sculptor and drawer. After an apprenticeship as ceramic/ pottery maker he attended the Weimar Saxon-Grand Ducal Art School and later the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts. From 1954 - 1958 he was master-class student under Gustav Seitz at Berlin Academy of Arts. For his work he received several national awards and honours.
