Willem Janszoon Blaeu (1571 - 1638) and Joan Blaeu (1598 - 1673), since 1629 Willem Blaeu printed high quality atlases and maps in his publishing house. After his death his son Joan Blaeu continued the publishing work and realized the printing of the well known 'Atlas Maior'.
