DESCRIPTION:
The tailor-made designer dress finished in black chiffon, decorated with golden applications. The dress was tailored by Bob Mackie, born 1940 Monterey Park, California, for the American dancer and actress Lola Falana, who wore it in 'The Cosby Variety Show' in the late sixties. This dress was sold at Christie´s New York in the special auction 'Mackie Costume & Couture from the private archives of Bob Mackie' on November 22, 2005.
