DESCRIPTION:
Extraordinary Chinese plate from the early 20th century. The central motif shows a playing dog, looking alike a dragon, with bird in natural scenery. The illustration is surrounded by fruit and flower decor with opulent gold decoration and the rim shows eastern ornaments with gold rimmed fruit illustrations. Verso chinese mark in red.
