DESCRIPTION:
Exclusive and rare Art Nouveau table clock with romantic painting in different coloures below glass, about 1900. Painting and clock case are surrounded by two female figures, whose robe forms the curved base. Classy and round clock face with Roman numerals in black on white ground. Oval formed very fine painting with signature on paper with illustration of two cranes in different colouring below glass. The back with the manual movement, a small key belongs to the clock with the inscription 'Practical Watchmaker & Jeweller' and 'Bolitho Cosport & Portsea'. The movement was not testet by a watchmaker, but works accurate after winding.
