Very rare Japanese atlas in two volumes- Kokugun zenzu- Atlas of the provinces and districts, 1837. In this case its an early edition of the 1828 first printed modern Atlas of Japan. The atlas contains 75 coloured and detailed woodcut maps- one master sheet and different maps of the Japanese provinces and islands. Yellow cover with title and grew slipcase with two clasps.
